Publisher's dark blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends pushed and very slightly worn; minimal rubbing to boards; trace of wear along bottom edges. Top edge of text block very faintly dust-soiled; pale specks of foxing along bottom edge; bookseller's ticket at front pastedown; occasional faint specks of foxing scattered throughout interior. Light wear and nicking at ends of jacket spine panel, head reinforced with clear tape at verso; small spots of foxing along spine panel; fairly mild wear along folds; trace of rubbing at rear panel, with light wear along edges of front and rear panels; nicking and small chips out of flap fold ends; flap edges dulled and rumpled, some with a handful of scattered spots of foxing. Some pale foxing at verso. Essentially fine book in very good jacket.
