Publisher's orange cloth, spine lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Sunning to backstrip where exposed due to jacket chipping; spine ends just a touch pushed and starting to show wear; minimal wear along bottom edges. Text block very softly dulled with age, particularly along edges; bookseller's ticket at rear pastedown. Jacket chipped along edges, particularly at spine ends and edges of rear panel; mild rubbing at front and rear panels; flaps mostly or completely detached along flap folds; clear tape reinforcing one tear at verso of spine panel. Near fine book in a good jacket.

Publisher's orange cloth, spine lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Mild lean to spine; spine ends pushed and a bit worn; cloth slightly soiled; backstrip dulled just a shade with a couple of small spot-stains; joints worn; wear along bottom edges and at corners, with boards peeking through at front corners. Text block a bit yellowed with age; top edge dust-soiled; effaced penciling at both free endpapers; a couple of lower page corners bent; occasional speck of marginal spot- or thumbsoiling scattered throughout interior. Jacket generally rubbed and dulled just a bit; chipping out of jacket spine ends, with a bit of yellow tape residue; some small drip stains, smudges, and areas of loss to surface of spine panel; folds split part or all of the way, reinforced with clear tape at verso; chipping and nicking out of front and rear panel edges, with a handful of fairly short tears, the longest about two inches; nicking along top edges of flaps. Very good book in a good jacket.
