Publisher's orange cloth, spine stamped in black; top edge trimmed, others untrimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends pushed and slightly worn; trace of wear and small bump to bottom edges. Top edge of text block slightly dust-soiled; occasional spot of faint marginal soiling scattered throughout. Nicking at spine and flap fold ends of jacket; mild rubbing to exposed panels; tiny hole toward bottom of front panel fold; light edge wear to front and rear panels, with a few short tears and some tiny creases; soft creasing at flap folds. Near fine book in a very good jacket.

    [Together with:] The Island of Fu Manchu. Garden City: The Crime Club, 1941. First edition, with publisher's review slip laid in. Octavo. [2], vi, [2], 299, [3, blank] pages. Publisher's orange-yellow cloth, spine stamped in dark green; top edge trimmed, others untrimmed; original illustrated dustjacket. Minimal shelf wear to binding. Text block faintly dulled; tiny amount of speckling at top toward fore-edge; endpapers discolored from binder's glue. Very slight edge wear to jacket; just a trace of rubbing to exposed panels, with a couple of faint spots of thumbsoiling at rear panel; three tiny tears at edges of rear panel; price-clipped. Near fine.

    [And:] The Shadow of Fu Manchu. Garden City: The Crime Club, 1948. First edition, with publisher's review slip laid in. Octavo. 190, [2, blank] pages. Publisher's dark blue paper-covered boards, spine and front stamped in white; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Slight wear to spine ends, particularly at bottom; front board bowed just a touch, with a few faint spots of soiling; mild bumping and wear to bottom edges of boards. Text block fairly browned, though not brittle; top edge dust-soiled; front free endpaper rumpled. Jacket spine panel sunned, with a handful of tidemarks at bottom and along front panel fold; slight nicking at top edge; short tear starting at base of rear panel fold; mild rubbing to front and rear panels; front panel with two short tears, on each from top and bottom edge; slight wear at flap fold ends. Uneven, generally mild discoloration at verso. Near fine.
