Publisher's red cloth, spine and front lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. A bit of light wear to spine ends, foot of spine crimped; trace of wear along bottom edges. Text block edges foxed, particularly along top and fore-edge; few spots of foxing to endpapers, with previous owner signature at front free endpaper; a bit of foxing to first and last few leaves. Jacket spine panel slightly rippled, with a few specks of foxing and some faint stamping; folds generally worn and creased, with nicking at ends, small hole toward middle of front flap fold; front and rear panels rubbed, with a few tiny tears at edges; some specks of foxing to flaps, short tear at fore-edge of front flap. Foxing at verso. Near fine.
