Publisher's dark grayish-brown paper-covered boards, spine lettered in gilt, in original dust jacket. Shallow ridge through center of the spine; corners and spine ends very lightly worn; corners softly bumped. Dust jacket spine panel very faintly dulled; edges and folds lightly worn with a couple short closed tears. Very good. The second Inspector Wexford novel.

    [Together with:] The Best Man to Die. London: John Long, [1969]. First edition, signed by the author on the title-page. Octavo. 183, [184] pages. Publisher's dark grayish-brown paper-covered boards, spine lettered in gilt, in original dust jacket. Spine very gently leaning; light wear to base of spine and bottom corners. A few very minor spots to the page edges. Dust jacket spine panel just barely dulled; light wear to edges and folds; light rubbing to rear panel; faint discoloration to verso of spine panel. Very good. The fourth Inspector Wexford novel. From the KoKo Collection.
