Publisher's red cloth, spine lettered and ruled in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends slightly pushed, trace of wear starting to show at foot; boards a tiny bit splayed. Text block faintly dulled with age; tiny amount of faint foxing and shallow scratches at edges; previous owner gift inscription at front pastedown; occasional faint spots of marginal soiling scattered throughout interior. Jacket rubbed, with chipping at spine and flap fold ends and at head of rear panel, along with a few short tears; creasing and wear along folds; flap edges softly rumpled. Near fine book in a very good jacket.
