Publisher's green cloth, spine and front lettered in gilt; all text block edges trimmed, top edge gilt. Spine ends pushed and lightly worn; mild wear along joints; some slight rubbing, scuffing to boards; minor wear along edges; corners tapped. Text block softly dulled with age; newspaper clippings affixed to both sides of front flyleaf, now browned and offsetting onto facing pages; occasional faint, marginal thumbsoiling scattered throughout interior. Near fine. With contemporary advertisement slip (four leaves) laid in, listing the publisher's "Summer Books / in paper covers." A Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.
