Octavo (7 x 4.625 inches; 177 x 117 mm.). [vi], [1]-141, [1, blank], [2, ads, possibly supplied] pages. Publisher's perfect binding in original light brown wrappers printed in red and blue; presumably first state with date on the front wrapper corrected in ink by the publisher, but this copy varies in appearance from other copies with the 6 written directly over the 5. Front wrapper re-attached, rear wrapper torn at joint (still attached), wrappers somewhat soiled; edges slightly worn with a couple of short closed tears and marginal creases. A few gutters near the front starting; a few leaves with creases or minor marginal damage; final ad leaf chipped. About very good. Chemised in quarter red morocco slipcase. A Haycraft-Queen Cornerstone.
