    Description

Robert Archer. Death on the Waterfront. New York: The Crime Club, Inc., 1941. First edition of the author's first book. Two copies. Octavo. [x], 278 pages. Publisher's full light gray cloth, spine stamped in orange. Each copy is in the publisher's original dust jacket. One copy is lightly rubbed, with some offset to endleaves, and its jacket is toned, mildly sunned at the spine, and has some light edgewear, thumbsoiling. The other copy is in rougher condition, with soiling, wear to binding, endleaves offset, a bookseller's ticket on the front free endpaper, and is skewed; the jacket is chipped, worn, torn, and thumbsoiled. A very good and a fair copy.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
