Publisher's bluish-green cloth, spine lettered in purplish-brown; all text block edges trimmed; illustrated dust jacket priced 3s. 6d. at front flap. Slightest trace of pale soiling to boards; bumping to lower corners. A couple of small pencil marks, one at bottom edge, one at interior. Jacket showing just a bit of faint rubbing; mild edge wear, with a bit of nicking at panel and flap fold ends; a couple of soft creases, one at top edge of rear panel, one at upper corner of rear flap. Some rubbing and a couple of pale spots at verso. Very nearly fine. A Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.
