Publisher's red cloth, spine and front board lettered and stamped in black; top edge stained black, others rough-trimmed; in original dust jacket. Spine just barely askew; backstrip very faintly dulled with some very light soiling; spine ends and corners lightly worn with a tiny closed tear to the crown. Endpapers discolored from binding glue. Spine panel faintly dulled; some soiling to the rear panel; edges lightly worn with a short closed tear to the bottom edge of the front panel; small hole at front flap fold; verso faintly foxed. Still, near fine overall. A handsome copy of the eighth Nero Wolfe mystery. Townsend A23b. From the KoKo Collection.
