[iv], 302, 5 (excerpt from The League of Frightened Men), [1, blank] pages. Publisher's bluish green cloth, spine and front board lettered in black; top edge stained yellow, others rough-trimmed; in restored original dust jacket. Spine gently leaning; light discoloration to joints; front board faintly darkened at both edges near joint; spine ends and corners lightly rubbed. Endpapers with some light offsetting; front free endpaper and half-title with some light discoloration from tape since removed; title-leaf foxed. Dust jacket restored along edges; rear panel lightly soiled; spine panel very gently faded. A very good copy in a nicely-restored jacket. Townsend A13b. From the KoKo Collection.
