Publisher's light brown cloth, spine and front lettered in orange, front stamped in blind with publisher's device; fore-edge untrimmed, others trimmed. General soiling to cloth; spine ends pushed and lightly worn; light wear along joints; a few soft bumps and light wear to edges. Text block softly tanned; top and bottom edges darkened and soiled; mild discoloration to endpapers; bookseller's ticket at front free endpaper; occasional mild, marginal spot-soiling scattered throughout interior. Very good. Queen's Quorum 52; a Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.

Publisher's black cloth, spine and front stamped in black; fore-edge untrimmed; original dust jacket printed in red on yellow paper. Cloth overall mildly faded and rubbed; spine ends bent with wear just starting to show at ends of joints; faint spot of soiling at front board; corners tapped; minor wear to lower edges. Text block slightly yellowed with age; mild dust-soiling along top edge; endpapers unevenly tanned with a few specks of soiling; a couple of spots of faint marginal thumbsoiling scattered throughout interior. Jacket spine panel dulled just a shade; a few small chips out of spine ends; light wear and rubbing to folds; small crack, about half an inch, starting at bottom of front panel fold; fairly faint rubbing, spotting and thumbsoiling to front and rear panels; rear panel with a couple of short tears at edges; nicking at flap fold ends. A touch of spotting at versos of front and rear panels. Near fine overall. A Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.
