    More Information:

Patricia Highsmith. The Talented Mr. Ripley. New York: Coward-McCann, [1955]. First edition. Octavo. [iv], 252 pages. Publisher's black paper-covered boards, spine lettered in green, in original dust jacket. Spine ends and corners lightly worn. Small splash to fore edge of last two gatherings; contemporary ownership signature on the front endpaper and holographic notation to inner margin of title-page. Dust jacket spine panel and edges of rear panel very faintly dulled; occasional edgewear with a long closed tear at both the spine and flap folds of rear panel; price-clipped. Still a very good copy with a nice overall appearance. Basis for Plein soleil, the acclaimed René Clément adaptation starring Alain Delon, released in 1960. Highsmith, unsatisfied with the changes to the ending, stated "it was a terrible concession to so-called public morality that the criminal had to be caught." (Wilson. Beautiful Shadow: A Life of Patricia Highsmith. New York: 2003. p. 224). From the KoKo Collection.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
