Publisher's red cloth, spine stamped in yellow; text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket on yellow paper. Small split at foot of spine; a few faint abrasions and some light rubbing to boards; upper corners just slightly tapped. Text block edges just a tiny bit yellowed. Minor rubbing to jacket; light edge wear with a few small nicks at spine and flap fold ends; faint crease along spine panel; a handful of tiny tears at edges of front and particularly rear panel; small abrasion toward top of rear panel. Very nearly fine.

Publisher's dark blue cloth, spine stamped in white; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Mild wear at spine ends; minor rubbing to boards with some faint smudges of soiling at front; trace of wear along bottom edges. Text block very faintly dulled with age, particularly around edges; top edge dust-soiled; mild discoloration toward hinges from binder's glue; small yellowish stain at front free endpaper. Jacket softly yellowed and rubbed, with a few spots of soiling visible at rear panel; spine panel sunned, with large chip out of bottom extending two inches up at its farthest; light wear along remaining edges, with some minimal nicking, rumpling, and short tears. Near fine book in a very good jacket.
