    Description

Mickey Spillane. My Gun is Quick. New York: E. P. Dutton & Company, 1950. First edition. Inscribed by the author to his parents: "Dear Ma and Dad - / Here's another you / shouldn't read - but after two more / are on the stands you'll have that / house! / Lovingly - Your Son." Octavo. 250, [6, blank] pages. Publisher's paper-covered boards, front board and spine stamped in red, dust jacket. Boards and board edges lightly rubbed, outer portions faintly toned. Text block dust soiled on top edge, hinges moderately soiled, endpapers lightly foxed, sporadic minor foxing throughout. Dust jacket mildly rubbed, edges somewhat worn and creased, spine and rear panels and flaps have small chips and open tears, front flap and verso a bit soiled and stained. A good, sound copy with a nice overall appearance and a touching inscription to the author's parents. From the estate of Mickey Spillane.
