More Information: Mickey Spillane. I, the Jury. New York: E. P. Dutton & Company, 1947. First edition. Signed slip laid in. Octavo. 218, [6, blank] pages. Publisher's black cloth lettered in red on front and spine. Original illustrated dust jacket; rear panel and flaps white with black lettering. Edges trimmed with deckled fore-edge. Spine slightly skewed. Mild shelf wear to binding; softly bumped at corners, pushed at spine ends. Toning and sume rumpling to dust jacket; archival repairs to spine ends, top edge, joint and flap folds mostly visible at verso, with black color correction applied to front and spine panel on rexto of jacket, appearing a touch duller than original coloring. Endpapers and edges of text block slightly yellowed from age; interior fainter. Previous owner signature and addresses inked to front pastedown. Very good book in good dust jacket. Spillane's debut novel and the first to feature his private investigator Mike Hammer.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
