Frontispiece and six additional inserted plates on coated paper by Lester Ralph. Publisher's full olive cloth, front and spine lettered in red with pictorial stamping in black. All edges trimmed. Mild shelf wear at joints and extremities of binding; soft bumping to rear lower corner; very lightly rubbed. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; top edge slightly dust-soiled. Some faint, scattered foxing and discoloration to leaves. Near fine. A Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.

Frontispiece and nine additional inserted plates on coated paper by Howard Chandler Christy. Publisher's full olive cloth; front and spine lettered in white; front ruled in blind. Original illustrated dust jacket. All edges trimmed. Very mild shelf wear at extremities of binding; top edge a bit dust-soiled; spine ends gently pushed. Top edge of text block faintly darkened; a few tiny stains to remaining edges. Price stamp at front free endpaper; a few dog-ears scattered throughout text. Mild rubbing to exposed panels of jacket with some chipping to top and bottom of spine panel resulting in some loss of text at top; fraying at edges of front and rear panel with some short tears and soft creasing. About near fine.

Vaux Wilson. Publisher's full blue cloth; front and spine lettered in gilt; front with decorative border stamped in blind. Original illustrated dust jacket. All edges trimmed. Slight fading to backstrip and margins of boards; barely perceptible shelf wear at bottom edge. Top edge of text block a bit dust-soiled; normal age toning to remaining edges. A few instances of marginal thumbsoiling scattered throughout interior. Mild toning, thumbsoiling and rubbing to exposed panels of jacket; small stain at head of spine panel and hole at front joint fold; tiny amount of paper loss at head of spine panel and front flap fold.
