    Description

Mary Agnes Hamilton. Murder in the House of Commons. London: [1931]. First edition. Octavo. 315, [1, remainder of text], [4, blank] pages. Publisher's light blue cloth, spine lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends gently rolled and showing a trace of wear; mild wear along bottom edges of boards. Endpapers and text block faintly yellowed; faint specks of foxing to edges; fore-edge of inserted slip with note to reader is rumpled; a few gutters overopened; several leaves toward middle of text block with creases along fore-edge margins. Edge wear to jacket resulting in small chips and nicking, with associated creasing and minuscule tears, reinforced with clear tape at verso; toning, rubbing, and minor soiling; folds softly creased, with splits starting at feet of panel folds reinforced with clear tape at verso. Very good.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
