    Margery Allingham et al. Six Against the Yard. London: Selwyn & Blount, [1936]. First edition. Octavo. 288, 32 [publisher's ads] pages. Publisher's pink cloth, spine lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine leaning; spine ends a bit darkened and worn; tiny gouge toward head of spine, with some faint spots of soiling scattered over remainder of backstrip; specks of soiling and some marginal darkening to boards; top edges dust-soiled; minor wear at bottom edges. Text block edges darkened; top edge dust-soiled, remaining edges slightly foxed; mild rippling and discoloration at endpapers, from binding process, with a light scattering of foxing; first few leaves of text block foxed, with occasional faint, marginal foxing scattered throughout remainder of interior. Exposed panels of jacket dulled, particularly spine panel; abrasions, a couple of tiny gouges, and a crease to spine panel; light wear to spine ends, with a bit of nicking at head; rubbing to front and rear panels; top edge of rear panel darkened and a bit worn, with a couple of tiny tears; flap folds dulled, creased, and a bit worn, with some slight chipping and nicking at ends; top edges of flaps darkened and rumpled. Mild rubbing, with darkening at upper edge of verso. Very good. Anthology including several other mystery and crime fiction writers such as Dorothy L. Sayers, Anthony Berkeley, Freeman Wills Crofts, and others.
