Publisher's pale purple cloth, spine and front lettered in silver; top edge of text block trimmed and stained orange; original illustrated dust jacket. Binding worn, discolored, and dust-soiled at extremities; pale soiling to boards, visible in raking light. Endpapers and text block yellowed; top edge of text block dust-soiled. Chipping to jacket edges, particularly at spine and flap fold ends, along with several tiny tears and some creasing; tear extending down about 1.5 inches from top of front panel fold and crossing spine panel horizontally; general rubbing and mild yellowing; folds worn; tidemark running length of rear flap fold; further tidemarks visible at verso. Good.
