Octavo. 373, [1, blank], 10 [advertisements]; frontispiece and fourteen additional plates illustrated by Sidney Paget inserted through. Publisher's blue cloth; spine and front board lettered in gilt, front board decoratively stamped in gilt; beveled edges; page edges rough-trimmed. Very slight spine lean; backstrip very lightly dulled; board edges rubbed with light wear to spine ends and corners; small blemish to rear joint. Endpapers lightly browned; rear hinge starting; frontispiece tissue-guard removed; occasional minor foxing or soiling to text. Very good, housed in a custom clamshell case. Queen's Quorum 27.
