Internally generally clean; top edge stained red, other edges untrimmed, minor intermittent soiling, minor edgewear. Dust jacket unclipped ($2.00), heavy edgewear, chipping to head and foot of spine panel, spine sunned, some soiling on back panel, rubbed. Very good book with good dust jacket.

    Kay Cleaver Strahan's first book, Desert Moon Mystery, was the first ever title published by The Crime Club (Doubleday, Doran & Co, Inc., 1928) and many of the plot devices Strahan developed in her novels went on to influence later well-known mystery writers of the era such as Ellery Queen and Agatha Christie.
