Publisher's black paper-covered boards, spine lettered in yellowish green and stamped in silver, in original dust jacket. Spine very slightly skewed; spine ends pushed; bottom corners softly bumped. Page edges lightly foxed; small blue blemish to top edge; bookseller ticket to front pastedown. Jacket edges worn; small hole to interior of spine panel, another near rear spine on rear panel; small V-shaped tear and black mark to spine margin of rear panel; rear panel lightly rubbed. Very good. Basis for film adaptations in 1962 (starring Gregory Peck and Robert Mitchum) and 1991 (directed by Martin Scorsese).

Text-blocks just barely foxed, Cry Hard Cry Fast to a slightly greater extent. Dust jackets lightly rubbed with only occasional minor edgewear; A Tan and Sandy Silence spine panel faded just a shade.
