Publisher's light yellowish green cloth, front board lettered and tooled in black, publisher's device stamped in black on front board; top and bottom edge trimmed, fore-edge untrimmed; in original dust jacket. Backstrip very faintly dulled; trivial wear to spine ends and corners. A single, tiny blemish to the rear endpaper. Dust jacket edges a trifle worn; light vertical crease to spine panel. Nearly fine. The author's third novel and the last to be published in hardcover in his lifetime. From the KoKo Collection.
