James Lee Burke. The Lost Get-Back Boogie. Baton Rouge: Louisiana State University Press, 1986. Mechanically produced typescript copy, signed by the author, sent to Robert Olen Butler by the publisher soliciting comments to print on the dust jacket. 8.5 x 11 inches sheets. [7], 341 folios. Publisher's black comb binding with brownish green stiff paper wrappers, paper label affixed to front. Light creasing and very minor wear to top edge of wrappers near binding; very soft crease down perforation of front wrapper; light, trivial soiling to paper label. Just about fine. Letter from publisher laid in, with Butler's blurb (which was eventually printed on the rear panel of the dust jacket) written in lower margin.

[Together with]: The Lost Get-Back Boogie. Baton Rouge: Louisiana State University Press, 1986. First edition, association copy, inscribed by the author for Butler: "To Bob Butler, a friend who is as generous as a person as he is talented as a writer - with appreciation, your Louisiana partner, Jim Burke." Octavo (9 x 5.875 inches; 227 x 150 mm.). [x], 241, [5, blank] pages. Publisher's bluish green cloth, spine lettered in orange. A nearly fine copy with just a touch of wear to the edges of the dust jacket folds. All housed together in a custom clamshell case. From the KoKo Collection.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
