Publisher's red cloth, spine and front lettered and decoratively stamped in black; all edge trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine skewed; spine ends pushed and very slightly worn, with top end lightly soiled; fairly mild soiling to boards; minor wear and bumping to edges; corners tapped. Text block softly yellowed; top edge dust-soiled; gatherings split throughout interior, but still sound; mostly marginal spot-staining and soiling scattered throughout interior. Fairly minor chipping at spine and fold ends, mostly reinforced with clear tape at verso; two tears at rear panel extending in from panel fold, the longest approximately 2.5 inches, both reinforced with tape at verso; general mild rubbing and soft creasing to folds and exposed panels. Jacket verso rubbed with minor uneven tanning. Very good.
