Four volumes in publisher's red cloth, spines and fronts lettered in grayish-blue with publisher's device at rear; one volume in publisher's dark blue cloth, spine and front lettered in red with publisher's device at rear; all text block edges trimmed, first three volumes stained dark blue at top edge; original illustrated dust jackets. Spine ends pushed and very lightly worn; a couple of books with minor wear and soiling at joints; boards rubbed just a touch; Ninth Baronet cloth rubbed and soiled; Four Degrees and Squire's Pew with boards slightly bent at edges from paperclips, now removed; corners bumped. Text blocks slightly dulled from age; top edges a bit dusty; some tiny spots of soiling to remaining edges; Four Degrees and Squire's Pew endpapers with paperclip marks and lending library stamps on front pastedowns; bookseller's ticket at front pastedown of Ninth Baronet; spot of faint marginal thumbsoiling in Squire's Pew; dog-ear in Ninth Baronet. Mild edge wear to jackets, most pronounced at spine and fold ends, where there are a handful of tiny nicks to some jackets; fairly mild rubbing and light soiling to exposed panels; pencil markings to front panel of Four Degrees; scratches to front panel of Squire's Pew; soft creasing to folds; small area of paper surface torn up at rear flap of Wrides Park. Four Degrees and Squire's Pew with paperclip marks at verso. Near fine.
