    J. S. Fletcher. The Heaven-Kissed Hill. New York: George H. Doran Company, [1924]. First U. S. edition. [Together with:] The Root of All Evil. New York: George H. Doran Company, [1924]. First U. S. edition. [And:] The Secret of the Barbican. And Other Stories. New York: George H. Doran Company, [1925]. First U. S. edition. [And:] Marchester Royal. New York: George H. Doran Company, [1926]. First U. S. edition. [And:] Daniel Quayne. A Morality. New York: George H. Doran Company, [1928?]. First U. S. edition. Five volumes. Octavo. Various paginations. Publisher's cloth, spines and fronts lettered and decoratively stamped; all edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jackets. Spine ends just slightly pushed; mild lean to most spines, Marchester Royal skewed; Daniel Quayne backstrip dulled just a shade; small stain at front board of Marchester Royal; fairly mild edge wear; handful of corners tapped. Text blocks softly dulled; top edges dust-soiled, Heaven-Kissed Hill with some tidemarks and Root of All Evil with "Office File Copy" stamp; some minor spot-soiling at remaining edges; mild, uneven discoloration at endpapers from binder's glue and offsetting from jacket flaps; front hinge of Root of All Evil starting to split, though still sound; piece of tape removed from front free endpaper of Marchester Royal, resulting in loss to surface of paper. Minor edge wear to jackets, resulting in some nicking, particularly at spine and flap fold ends; Root of All Evil spine panel stamped, with tidemarks at either end, penciled number to Marchester Royal spine panel; minor wear and some soft creasing at folds; small hole at front panel fold of Heaven-Kissed Hill, repaired at verso with small piece of paper, color added; mild rubbing and occasional light soiling to front and rear panels; two small holes at front flap fold of Heaven-Kissed Hill; creasing to a handful of flaps. Very good overall.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
