Publisher's dark grayish-brown cloth, front board stamped in blind with dagger design, the blade stamped in silver, spine lettered in silver with publisher's device in silver at foot; all edges trimmed; plain red endpapers. In original dust jacket, designed by Richard Chopping. Very gentle spine lean; short closed tear (approximately 3 mm) to cloth at the crown; a couple small blemishes to the top edge of the rear board; top corners softly bumped. Dust jacket with two short closed tears to top edge of front panel, with tape repairs to verso, causing some light discoloration; small stain to upper margin of rear panel; light soiling to rear panel; occasional minor edgewear. Very good. The tenth James Bond book. Co-writing credit given to Vivienne Michel, the fictional character from whose point of view the story is told. Gilbert A10a (1.1). From the KoKo Collection.
