Octavo (7.5 x 5.875 inches; 188 x 124 mm). 257, [1, blank] pages (note: pages 9-10 not accounted for in pagination). Publisher's black cloth, front board stamped in silver with baguette-cut diamond device and ruled in blind with repeating diamond-shaped pattern, spine lettered in silver with publisher's device at foot; all edges trimmed; plain white endpapers. In original dust jacket designed by Pat Marriott. Spine just barely askew; bottom edges of both boards very softly bumped; bottom corner of rear board tapped with just a touch of wear; few stray very minor cosmetic scuffs to the rear board. Bookseller ticket pasted to front free endpaper; upper corners just barely creased on the last of leaves of gathering O and the first few of gathering P. Dust jacket edges and folds lightly worn with a short (approximately one-half inch) closed tear to the bottom of the rear spine fold and a couple small nicks to the ends of the rear spine fold; very minor spots of wear to the interior of the spine panel; background of rear panel just barely soiled; price-clipped.
