Recent black morocco by Starr Bookworks; spine in five compartments with four raised bands, ruled and lettered in gilt, central compartment decoratively stamped in gilt, gilt-lettered red leather labels; boards ruled in gilt with decorative gilt-stamped flourishes at each corner; front board with elaborate roulette wheel design inlaid with various colors of leather; all edges stained a faint grayish green; marbled endpapers; dual flyleaves. Potentially a repackaged ex-library copy with evidence of call letter stamps erased from the title-page. Boards with just a trace hint of rubbing; gilt flourishes lightly worn. Page margins lightly soiled throughout; some sporadic wear and occasional light cockling. A very good text block, finely bound. From the Collection of Daniel J. King.
