    Herbert Adams. Rogues Fall Out. Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott Company, 1928. First U. S. edition. Octavo. 315, [5] pages. Publisher's orange cloth, spine and front lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed, top edge stained black; original illustrated dust jacket printed on yellow paper. Spine ends just a tiny bit pushed and worn; minimal wear along bottom edges with a couple of very faint dark smudges toward bottom of boards. Text block a bit dulled with age; previous owner gift inscription at front free endpaper. Jacket slightly rubbed, with mild edge wear resulting in nicking at spine and flap fold ends, reinforced with clear tape at verso; spine panel lightly sunned; soft creasing and a couple of tiny holes at folds; mild discoloration along top edges of flaps. Very nearly fine.

Publisher's dark brown cloth, spine and front stamped in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Mild lean to spine; spine ends just a touch worn, foot rolled; some faint, pale soiling to boards; a bit of wear along bottom edges. Text block softly dulled with age, particularly along edges; minor dust-soiling and surface abrasions to top edge; specks of soling and faint foxing to remaining edges, with small spot of what appears to be insect damage toward bottom rear end of fore-edge; mild foxing at endpapers, with a bit of uneven yellowing from exposure to jacket flaps; small spots of foxing and soiling scattered throughout interior. Jacket unevenly tanned with age, darkest at spine panel, with some rubbing; fairly mild edge wear resulting in nicking at spine and flap fold ends; folds creased; a few small spots of soiling and staining at front and rear panels. Verso unevenly browned. Very good.
