Volume I - 271 pp., Volume II - 277 pp., Volume III - 267, 32 pp. publisher's catalog (April 1889). Uniformly bound in publisher's dark teal cloth, elaborately blocked in copper on front board and spine, gilt-lettered spine, publisher's monogram stamped on blind on back cover. Corners bumped and rubbed, minor professional restoration to joints, copper darkened, rubbed, spines cocked. Green-grey botanical printed endpapers, hinges starting, endpapers moderately soiled, front free endpaper of Volume I with 2-inch closed tear. Internally generally clean; minor intermittent foxing, minor intermittent soiling, top edges darkened, minor edgewear. Volume III with misprint, line 21, 'Clarence' instead of 'Charles' with pencil notation. Good.
