Publisher's green cloth, spine and front lettered in gilt, front with decorative gilt stamping, publisher's device stamped in blind at rear; top edge trimmed and gilt. Spine ends pushed and lightly worn; mild wear along joints; surface insect damage along edges of boards; small hole in cloth at fore-edge of rear board; minor wear along bottom edges; corners tapped. Text block softly dulled; a bit of staining at top edge; a few spots of foxing along fore-edge; mild rubbing toward corner along bottom edge; faint foxing and discoloration at endpapers; spine split in a few places throughout text block, though still sound; occasional mild, mostly marginal foxing and thumbsoiling scattered throughout interior. Very good.
