Publisher's red cloth, spine and front stamped in black; top edge of text block trimmed and stained red; original illustrated dust jacket. Moderate shelf wear to extremities of binding. Endpapers and text block edges a bit yellowed with age; topstain faded to soft rust color, with a few drip stains and specks of soiling. Tiny areas of restoration at spine and flap fold ends, and to repair a few short tears at edges of rear panel; mild rubbing; Crime Club logo at rear panel faded. Very good.

Text block dulled; soiling along top edge. Minor restoration to jacket at spine and flap fold ends and panel edges, with color added at recto; mild rubbing; soft creasing to folds. Good.
