Publisher's black cloth, spine lettered and ruled in red with publisher's device stamped in blind, front board lettered in red and ruled in red and blind, in original dust jacket. Very gentle spine lean, backstrip rubbed near base with white blemish; corners slightly bent and a trifle worn. Faint offsetting to endpapers with two stray blue ballpoint ink marks to front free endpaper. Dust jacket edges lightly worn with occasional small chip or short closed tear; rear panel rubbed; a couple soft creases to bottom edge of front panel. Still, a near fine copy. The third Father Brown title. From the KoKo Collection.
