Very gentle spine lean; edges lightly worn with a couple small closed tears to the crown; small bump to the fore-edge of both boards. Very good. The first Father Brown mystery.

Publisher's blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt, front board lettered and ruled in blind. Backstrip and board edges dulled; gilt somewhat tarnished; spine ends and corners lightly worn. Very good.

    [And:] The Incredulity of Father Brown. London: Cassell and Company, [1926]. First edition. Octavo. [viii], 295 [296] pages. Publisher's black cloth, spine and front board lettered in red and ruled in red and blind; in original later (cheap) issue dust jacket, lowering the price on the spine panel. Spine ends and corners very lightly worn. Page edges lightly foxed. Dust jacket spine panel dulled; edges lightly worn; folds toned; rear panel lightly soiled. Very good. From the KoKo Collection.
