DescriptionFreeman Wills Crofts. Three Typed Letters, Signed. Surrey: July 26, 1948-May 27, 1950. Original letters on Rose Cottage stationery.
Freeman Wills Crofts. Three Typed Letters Addressed to a "Mr. Ibbotson." Guildford, Surrey: unpublished correspondence, 26 July 1948-27 May 1950. Signed. Three letters of two leaves each on Rose Cottage (presumably Crofts' home) letterhead, text on rectos only, all hand-signed on second leaves. Crofts references mutual book-lending, in which he sent his correspondent, among a few other volumes, Detective Club titles The Floating Admiral and Six Against the Yard. All leaves with two tiny holes and small rust stains at upper corners from removed staples; two letters with soft, horizontal creases running width of sheets from folding to mail; a handful of faint spots of foxing at formerly stapled corners of July 26 letter; occasional small bump to leaf corners or other minimal evidence of handling. Very nearly fine.
