Publisher's brown cloth, spine and front lettered in red; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket printed on red paper. Foot of spine just barely pushed; publisher's name at backstrip slightly faded; boards a bit bowed; trace of wear along bottom edges. Text block faintly tanned from age; light foxing to text block edges; minor darkening to upper edge of text block; small spot of rubbing toward corner at bottom edge; mild foxing to endpapers and first and last few leaves. Jacket spine panel tanned; chip out of foot extending up about one inch, nicking at head, reinforced with clear tape at verso; small tear toward bottom of rear panel fold; pair of tears at center of front panel, each about two inches long, reinforced with clear tape at verso; some soft creasing and tiny surface abrasions at rear panel; wear and creasing along flap folds, with small hole at middle of rear fold and a bit of chipping and short tears and ends; flaps tanned and creased at upper edges, front flap slightly rumpled. Near fine book in a good dust jacket.
