Publisher's cloth, spines lettered, fronts stamped with Red Badge logos; one text block with all edges trimmed, remainder with fore-edges untrimmed, four with top edges stained; original illustrated dust jackets. Majority of spine ends very slightly rolled or crimped; short scratch at backstrip of Antidote (without rear blank); trace of light soiling to a few boards, most pronounced at Dark Journey; minimal wear along bottom edges of boards. Text blocks softly dulled with age, particularly at edges; top edges slightly dusty; one volume with a tiny amount of speckle-soiling along top edge; occasional mild discoloration to endpapers, result of aging binder's glue; a couple of small spots of foxing at endpapers of Double Tragedy. Very mild edge wear to majority of jackets; Golden Ashes, Enemy Unseen, and Antidote (without blank) with some nicks or small chips out of ends of spine panels and flap folds; Golden Ashes spine panel sunned; tiny tidemark at verso of Enemy Unseen spine panel; soft creasing at or near panel folds; small hole with some corresponding rumpling toward bottom of front panel fold of Golden Ashes; general mild rubbing to front and rear panels; Antidote (without blank) with a couple of light tidemarks at lower corners of rear panel and front flap fold; light spotting to verso of Dark Journey. Near fine overall.
