Publisher's cloth, all books lettered at spine, four lettered at front; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jackets. Spine ends slightly softened, a few with a trace of wear; a bit of mild soiling and discoloration at backstrip and boards of Wokeham; speckle-soiling to boards of Silence; Murderers discolored around board edges. Text blocks very softly dulled with age; few spots of soiling and staining at edges of Wokeham; foxing to edges of Silence; mild soiling to edges of Murderers; some light foxing to endpapers of Wokeham, with stationer's stamp at front pastedown; yellowed residue from removed paper label at front free endpaper of Enemy. Fairly mild edge wear to jackets, most pronounced at spine and flap fold ends; large chip out of head of Wokeham spine panel, replaced with paper facsimile tipped to edge of front panel, smaller chip at foot of panel, reinforced with clear tape at verso; edges of Silence reinforced with clear tape at recto, with color added at spine and flap fold ends; exposed panels rubbed with some occasional soiling; several closed tears (reinforced with clear tape at verso) and creases to front and rear panels of Wokeham; soft creasing and wear to flap folds, Train with small hole at rear flap fold; Murderers price-clipped. A few jackets foxed at verso. Near fine books with good to very good jackets.
