Frederick Irving Anderson. Adventures of the Infallible Godahl. New York: Thomas Y. Crowell Company, 1914. First edition. Octavo (7.25 x 4.875 inches; 184 x 125 mm.). [8], 241, [1] pages; frontispiece and seven additional illustrated plates on coated paper inserted throughout. Publisher's light blue cloth, front and spine lettered in orange with blind-stamped panel pattern; all edges of the text block edges trimmed; in the original illustrated dust jacket. Very minor shelf wear at spine ends and corners of binding. Normal age toning to edges of text block; a bit of speckling along top and bottom edges. A bit of toning and rubbing, with a handful of soft creases, to exposed panels of dust jacket; some chipping at head of spine and rear panels (some loss to text), with minimal paper loss along bottom edge and small hole at rear joint fold; split along front flap fold extending about halfway up. A few tape repairs at verso closing tears mostly invisible at recto. A near fine book in a very good jacket. Anderson's first mystery collection. Uncommon, especially so in jacket, with no jacketed copies listed in Rare Book Hub. From the Otto Penzler Collection of Mystery Fiction.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
