Octavo. 135 pp. Publisher's red cloth with black-stamped spine; with original illustrated dust jacket. Corners just bumped; minor discoloration of edges; some soiling on back board. Front endpapers with very minor dampstaining; ex-library stamp to front free endpaper. Internally clean; top-edge slightly darkened. Dust jacket with moderate edgewear; some chipping in head and foot of spine panel, spine sunned; soiling overall; heavily rubbed overall; tear in head of spine reinforced with tape on verso, minor color bleed on verso. Very good book with good dust jacket. Novelization adapted from scripts for the Paul Temple BBC radio series, also written by Francis Durbridge. Novel written in collaboration with Charles Hatton, uncredited in text.
