    Fergus Hume. A Marriage Mystery. Told from Three Points of View. London: Digby, Long & Co., [1896]. First edition. Octavo. 271, [1], 16 [publisher's ads] pages. Publisher's green cloth, spine lettered in gilt, spine and front stamped in black, white and red, rear stamped in blind with publisher's initials; top edge of text block untrimmed. Cloth generally dulled, with some rubbing and surface scratches; spine ends pushed and slightly worn; fairly minor wear with a bit of soiling along joints; minor wear and bumping along edges and at corners. Text block a bit dulled with age, particularly at edges; top edge dust-soiled with a few faint spots of foxing; endpapers browned at edges with some faint specks of foxing; rear hinge split but still sound; sparse foxing, spot- and thumbsoiling scattered throughout interior; evidence of dog-earing. Very good.

    [Together with:] The Red-Headed Man. London: Digby, Long & Co, 1899. First edition. Octavo. [8], 310, [2], 16 [publisher's ads] pages. Publisher's grayish blue cloth, spine stamped in red and black, front stamped in red, black and white; text block edges untrimmed. Spine ends softened and worn; backstrip dulled just a shade, with stamping softly rubbed; mild wear along joints; boards slightly rubbed with a bit of light soiling, particularly at rear; mild wear along edges and at corners. Text block softly dulled; scattered spots of faint foxing along edgers; top edge mildly dust-soiled; endpapers lightly foxed; occasional faint, marginal foxing and thumbsoiling throughout interior; fore-edge of leaves with pages 9-10 and 11-12 at rear ads mostly unopened, with short tear at fore-edge of first leaf. Very good.
