[4, publisher's ad]. Light green publisher's cloth with gilt and black lettered spine, illustrated on spine and front board with black stamp. Spine sunned, spine and boards rubbed with slight soiling and discoloration, spine gently pushed, edges unevenly toned and untrimmed, ink ownership to pastedown, unevenly toned endpapers, gutters overextended; internally generally clean with intermittent foxing. Very good.

    Miss Mephistopheles: A Novel. (Sequel to Madame Midas). London: F.V. White & Co., 1890. Presumed first edition. 12mo. 300, continuously paginated 315 (publisher's ads), [3, ads] pages. Illustrated paper-covered boards. Boards and spine rubbed, edgewear to head and foot of spine and corners, edges have minor foxing, ads to endpapers, ink ownership to title page which has open tear, gutter overextended; internally clean. Very good.

    The Pagan's Cup. New York: G. W. Dillingham Co., 1902. First American edition. Octavo. 290 pages. [8, publisher's ads]. Orangish, tan publisher's cloth with brown stamp to spine and front board. Boards lightly rubbed with some soiling to rear board, gutter weak; internally clean. Dust jacket unclipped (50 cents); wrappers rubbed with some discoloration, minor edgewear to head of spine and top corners. Very good book with very good dust jacket.

    The Amethyst Cross. London: Cassell & Co., 1908. First edition. Octavo. 304 pages. 8 publisher's ads. Colored frontispiece. Green publisher's cloth with orange and black stamped letters and illustration to spine and front board. Spine lightly sunned and pushed, boards gently rubbed, edges darkened and intermittently foxed, front hinge overextended, gutter overextended; internally clean. Very good.
