Endpapers unevenly toned, ink and pencil ownership to half title, front hinge overextended, gutters over extended; internally clean. Very good.

Tan publisher's cloth with gilt stamped spine, black stamped front board. Spine sunned and gently pushed, boards rubbed, corners slightly bumped, top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed, foxing to pastedown and endpapers; intermittent foxing and toning internally, but text not affected. Very good.

Frontispiece and 15 wood engraving illustrations by A.T. Smith. Green cloth with black and grey stamping to spine and front board. Head and foot of spine gently pushed, rear joint starting, boards lightly rubbed, edges lightly foxed, ink stamp ownership ("Jack McCulloch") to pastedown, endpapers and pastedowns with green design, rear hinge overextended, gutters overextended; minor foxing internally. Very good.

    The Mystery of a Motor Cab. Everett & Co., 1908. First edition. Octavo. 315 pages. [3, publisher's ads]. Red publisher's cloth with gilt lettering to spine and front board. Spine pushed, spine and boards rubbed and slightly discolored, top edge darkened; internally very clean. Very good.
