    Ellery Queen. The Door Between. New York: Frederick A. Stokes, 1937. First edition, review copy with advance slip affixed to front free endpaper. Octavo. [iv], 318, [2, blank] pages. Publisher's light gray cloth, spine and front board lettered in red, in original restored dust jacket. Gentle spine lean; backstrip dulled with dampstain at foot of the spine; joints discolored. Light discoloration to endpapers from binding glue; ownership signature erased from front endpaper; occasional minor over-opening. Dust jacket restored at edges, addressing paper loss at spine ends and a few closed tears as well as a couple interior holes along spine folds. A very good copy in a nicely restored jacket.

Publisher's light gray cloth, spines and front boards lettered in red, in original dust jackets. Spines just barely skewed; The Devil to Pay rear joint lightly discolored with a couple spots of foxing on the rear board; The Four of Hearts extremities rubbed. Dust jacket for The Devil to Pay lightly worn at edges with a small chip at the foot of the spine and a couple small closed tears; rear panel lightly rubbed with a couple small occurrences of color loss; The Four of Hearts crown chipped with some lesser wear to edges of folds and a smaller chip at the base of the spine panel; spine panel lightly dulled; rear panel lightly rubbed.
