In the original publisher's dust jacket. Cloth spine sunned, minor rubbing, to binding. Bookshop inkstamp to front pastedown, some foxing to endleaves and edge of text block. Spine and jacket panels sunned and rubbed. Some soiling, mild wear to jacket. Good. [Together with:] Another copy. Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott Company, [1946]. First American edition. Signed by crime writer Dorothy B. Hughes on the front free endpaper. Octavo. 269 pages. Publisher's full black cloth, spine stamped in pink. In the original publisher's dust jacket. Cloth spine a bit toned and rubbed. Light rubbing, soiling to boards, minor offsetting to endleaves. Jacket spine a bit sunned, jacket worn with a few chips and tears (including two small chips to the middle of the spine). Jacket somewhat thumbsoiled. Good.
