Publisher's black cloth, spines and fronts stamped in red; five text blocks trimmed at all edges, three at top edges only, five top edges stained red; original illustrated dust jackets, one with yellow wraparound promotional band. Spine ends a bit pushed; a bit of pale soiling to a few bindings; trace of wear along bottom edges of boards; a few corners softly tapped. Text blocks mildly dulled; a few top edges dust-soiled; a couple of fore-edges lightly soiled or foxed; two volumes with previous owner signatures at front free endpapers. General mild rubbing to majority of jackets; some general mild edge wear resulting in a few instance of nicking at spine and flap fold ends; nick at head of spine panel of wraparound band, with some dark staining at rear panel; small square of black paper affixed to rear panel of Law of the Three Just Men; a couple of jackets with one tiny hole each at one flap fold; faint tidemark at front flap of Three Just Men; Law of the Three Just Men price-clipped; tidemark at verso of Again the Three Just Men. Near fine to fine. The Murder Book of J. G. Reeder is Queen's Quorum 72 and a Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.
